FACES Pakistan in collaboration with Telenor Paistan started “Raddi to Rehabilitation Campaign” in Islamabad which revolved around the core principle of empowering and helping those members of society who have been suffering due to natural calamity. The projected was proposed and implemented in 2010 by youth of Active Citizen project of FACES Pakistan to raise funds to initiate relief efforts for the flood victims in Nowshera, Kashmore, Jaffarabad and Rahim Yar Khan.
In 2015, again with Telenor Pakistan, FACES Pakistan carried out a successful campaign in Nowshera in which, due to the efforts of our voluntary teams, we were able to successfully help the people who were affected by floods in 2015. With the success that the campaign had already witnessed and with further expansion, FACES Pakistan is looking forward to generate more money from the sale of RADDI. Now we have invited different groups, volunteers, organizations to merge in and help us in catering the needs of the less privileged.
Recently, our volunteers of Raddi to Rehabilitation Project from Kinnaird College Lahore also collected raddi from their houses and neighbours. The income generated from the sale of raddi was transferred to Peace Schools for Afghan Refugees and Host Communities to provide education to needy children.
